Available Positions - face to face with young people and supporting

York Minster District Scouts are currently looking for adults from all walks of life to support us. Email volunteer@yorkminsterscouts.org.uk

Not all roles are face-to-face with young people; we also need trustees, drivers, tea makers, grass cutters, fundraisers, project managers, marketing and communication, help with training and admin and many more roles to support our leaders and assistants, who are delivering our various Scouting programmes across the district.

Whether you can spare a couple of hours every week, the odd hour here and there or adhoc for specific events/projects, we want to hear from you.

Why not use your current skills and learn some new ones, whilst making a difference in the development of young people?

That’s not to say that we don’t need people to work directly with young people; we do.

We are seeing an increased demand from young people; you really can make a difference - from 4 to 25, and volunteering has been proven to be #GoodForYou
