1st Heworth Scout Group offers Scouting to young people in the Heworth, Tang Hall and Derwenthorpe areas of York. If you are thinking about joining Scouts, we hope to answer all your questions, whether new to the area, or just looking for something different to do, where you can make new friends. We now offer Squirrels (4-6), Beavers (6-8), Cubs (8-10¹/₂) and Scouts (10¹/₂ -14).  Explorers (14-18) is available locally (based at Osbaldwick and Murton Scout Hut).

If you are interesting in joining please feel free to contact us through our dedicated website or turn up on the appropriate day / time and introduce yourself to one of the leaders, but we advise that you phone first to make sure that its on, and that we are meeting at the hut that particular week as we could be out doing an activity.

The Scout Hut is situated at the bottom of Bad Bargain Lane just off Tang Hall Lane.
