1st Heworth (York) Scout Group offers Scouting to young people in the Heworth, Tang Hall and Derwenthorpe areas of York. If you are thinking about joining Scouts, we hope to answer all your questions, whether new to the area, or just looking for something different to do, where you can make new friends.

We now offer Squirrels (4-6), Beavers (6-8), Cubs (8-10¹/₂), Scouts (10¹/₂ -14) and Explorers (14-18).

We are also always on the lookout for new adult volunteers; please do reach out if you're interested.

If you are interesting in joining, please feel free to contact one of the leaders.

Alternatively, you could just turn up on the appropriate day / time and introduce yourself to one of the leaders but we advise that you phone first to make sure that its on and that we are meeting at the hut that particular week, as we could be out doing an activity.
